Regarding Writing
How many words per page are typed generally?
The number of words that fit on a page depends on factors like font size, spacing, and margins, but there are common estimates:
- A5 page (half of A4):
Typically 250–350 words per page when typed in a standard font such as Times New Roman or Arial at 12‑point size with normal margins and single spacing. - Royal page (often referring to “Royal” paper size, 6.14 × 9.21 inches):
Usually 350–450 words per page under the same formatting conditions.
These figures are general averages and can vary depending on formatting choices
How many spoken words are typically produced in an hour if I record a voice note?
The number of spoken words in an hour depends on how fast someone talks, but there are common averages:
- Most people speak at 120–160 words per minute in a normal conversational or dictation style.
- Over one hour, that equals roughly 7,000–10,000 spoken words.
The total can be higher or lower depending on your natural speaking speed, pauses, and how structured the voice note is.
How can I accurately express the exact wording of image captions?
Effective captions can usually be conveyed:
- Describe the key point of the image: day, people, place..
- Add context or explanation
- Add an anecdote related to the image
- Connect the visual to the overall theme or purpose.
We don’t count the number of words in the captions, but we make it clear, and concise.
How can I link each image to its correct caption?
Our guidebook explains a clear, practical method for efficiently recording captions for each image, making the process smooth for both the editor and the storyteller. During photography, we use a simple numbering system, assigning codes such as A1, A2, B1, B2… to each image as it is captured. These codes are then entered into the supplied spreadsheet alongside key details, including the caption text, image placement, and any associated songs. Using this spreadsheet keeps everything organised and consistent, minimising the chance of anything being lost, mismatched, or misplaced
Regarding Writer
Can I use AI to write my biography?
AI can certainly act like an assistant with a hundred pairs of hands, managing language with flawless grammar and a warmly polished tone. Tools such as Biography AI and Photo AI can be valuable supports in your work. Yet the core of writing is the emotional connection that weaves stories and anecdotes into a single piece that truly touches the reader’s heart. Only an experienced writer, with a distinctive personal perspective, can achieve this at the highest level.
Can I choose a writer or a ghostwriter to write the book?
We do not distinguish between writers and ghostwriters; we see only master composers. To us, the Storyteller provides the soul—the vision, the history, and the spark—while our writer acts as the Film Director, translating those elements into a compelling script. They shape the context and sharpen the narrative arc, but only after seeking your creative alignment.
Every manuscript is a collaborative symphony. Our writers are trained to capture your unique voice so seamlessly that the credit remains rightfully yours. Beyond their creative prowess, our team is defined by a steadfast commitment to ethics and discretion. With privacy at the heart of their work, our writers are not just skilled artisans, but reliable guardians of your legacy.
Can I change another writer once the project has been activated?
We understand that chemistry and tone are essential to telling your story. Our project starts with a detailed briefing to ensure we match you with the writer best suited to your voice. However, if you feel the narrative direction isn’t aligning with your vision during the initial stages, we will first facilitate a deep-dive session with your Project Manager to adjust the creative brief. Our goal is to ensure the ‘Director’ of your story is perfectly in sync with you. If alignment cannot be reached, we can discuss transitioning the project to another team member, though this may impact the timeline to allow the new writer to get fully up to speed.
What does it mean by the Signature Lens?
Our writers are master story architects, each bringing a unique cinematic lens to your project. Some are virtuosos of plot, crafting narratives as gripping as a suspense film to hold the reader’s gaze. Others specialize in the ‘close-up’—delving into the nuances of character and emotion to create a deep, resonant connection with the audience. For those seeking historical depth, our documentary-style specialists excel at uncovering the hidden forces behind the image, such as the socio-political movements or government policies that have shaped your life’s path. Through their expert eyes, your story is told with a perspective that is as insightful as it is compelling.
Regarding Production
Why are both a Gift Box and a Book Box included in the packaging?
Our curated gifts are categorized into two types: flat, paper-based items and dimensional, non-paper keepsakes. While paper items are stored in the back-cover pocket, more substantial gifts—such as miniature photo sets and resin frames—require a dedicated Gift Box for protection and presentation. We then house both the book and this Gift Box together within a larger, custom-designed Book Box. This “box-within-a-box” structure not only ensures all elements are securely organized but also elevates the unboxing experience to reflect the prestige of your legacy.
Any such adjustments will naturally influence the final cost; therefore, to ensure full transparency, we provide a comprehensive quotation upfront that outlines various scaling options and potential variables. This allows you to expand your project with confidence as your story grows.
Regarding Editing
Can I change the number of pages, printed copies, or the editions?
We understand that a creative journey is fluid, and new ideas often surface during the interview process or as images are gathered. To accommodate your evolving vision, we offer the flexibility to adjust the number of pages, print copies, and editions even after the initial briefing.

Regarding Photographing
What are the technical requirements for photography to meet your production standards?
To ensure the highest print quality, we require images to be at least 3,000 x 4,000 pixels. Photos should be clear, free of unwanted shadows, and neatly composed without distracting clutter.
