    Cover & Back Cover: 1200 gsm greyboard covered by 157 gsm matt laminated coated art paper
  • Interior Pages (ROP) : 120 gsm matt coated paper
  • End paper: plain uncoated paper
  • Binding: Case Bound Binding or Thread-Sewn Binding
  • Printing options include UV printing, hot stamping, embossing, and engraving. The most suitable method will depend on the design layout.

Other Printing Effects and Materials for Bookcover Production

Book covers are typically printed using durable materials such as high‑quality cardstock, while options like cloth or leather are used far less frequently.

We recommend using coated matte art paper for the content pages, as it delivers excellent results in digital full‑colour printing. Other textured papers are generally not advised and are used far less frequently.

We also offer a full range of premium finishing techniques to elevate both appearance and durability. These include gloss or matte lamination, metallic foil stamping, embossing, textured spot UV, and sprayed edges, all of which contribute to a refined, high‑end look. The choice of finishes depends entirely on the design direction, and our designer will provide tailored recommendations once the artwork is reviewed.

Schedule & Delivery Commitment
The Book production lead time is 2-4 weeks, depending on the book quantity, giveaway production, and packaging box. We are committed to meeting agreed deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of your completed memoir.

Inspection
Our quality inspection ensures that the books meet required standards and specifications before they reach your hands. This process helps identify defects, consistency, and compliance with specifications at various stages. It ensures that color accuracy, page order, print alignment, text and image sharpness, ink density, and overall appearance meet standards, preventing costly rework or rejections.

Pre-press: Verify artwork and editions, image resolution, proofs, and file compatibility
Production: our colleague would monitor the color variation and report on real-time issues.
Post-press: Check finishing, cutting, binding, and packaging defects.
